I also didn't really like how those blue freaks were basically straight up Native Americans, from the stuff they wore to the typical Indian calls and noises they would make. The filmmakers couldn't come up with something more original or creative? In the end the movie is worth a watch on the FX alone, but don't buy into the action hype that a lot seem to be spewing.

Isn't that funny? Cameron paid a language expert to create a new language for the blue people to use (mentioned it in an interview) and rest of their culture is photo-copied native american culture.

Goes back to what I said, all this brand new 3D and CGI tech... you would think they would do a bit of legwork freshening up the rest of it.

I had a slight interest until I spoke with my brother then he went on a 5 minute comedic rant on why not too. He used the movie guy voice saying beware of the Mutated Killer Kitties and pow pow meow meow and I just lost it and can't help but view it that way and have no interest in seeing it.

will not be seeing this film looks like overhyped crap, seems film makers are concentrating on making the effects as good as they can and not bothering as to whether the rest of the film is good. 2012 was the same, good effects bad storyline.

Story and blue-indians aside, I was not happy with the outcome. They killed people I thought didn't need to die. You expect some deaths with a war focus flick, sure, but I disagree with who they took and how they went out.


Spoiler examples:

Why the fuck did they kill Michelle Rodriguez? Looked like they killed her just to kill her and get one more explosion in the sequence. It did nothing for the story. I'm pissed they killed Sigourney Weaver to, but thats mostly cause I like seeing her in big flicks.

This isn't a slasher flick, don't need to kill people just to kill people...

Well three week's later my ass finally got a chance to see well with all the delay's with snowstorm's and then being sold out the second week. It's easily one of the best films that was released in 2009 it has it all plot, story, and awesome FX along with some stunning vibrant color's used throughout the film. I ended up seeing the 3D version which was a plus because turned out most of the film was in 3D not just spot's here and there so in the end movie was pretty awesome 9/10.

I hate it when people don't see movies based on others' opinions. Go see it for yourself. Who knows, you may be surprised. I know I was. I used to hate on it from the trailer, lmfao.

LMFAO, I agree. I actually enjoyed those two's characters. I didn't want to see them go. But this movie killed 95% of it's characters, I doubt how a sequel would be possible.

No sequal should be done. I don't give a fuck what script is circulating where. 1.1 billion and rising, you're done. James did what he wanted, he made enough profit to justify the use of the new CGI and camera tech. Trying to ride the flick's coattails with a sequal will just crash and burn. Quit while you're ahead and use that CGI and camera tech on a new franchise.
