Psycho easily, on VHS when I was really young. Scared me to death. The end scene in the basement :shakes:

I think I had checked out a few of those orange books as well.

I was scared of almost everything at a young age. My mom would just sit and watch horror movies right in front of me, though. A Nightmare On Elm Street 3 was the defining movie, however. I taped it off of cable then watched it over and over again.

Jurrasic Park was the first movie that scarred me as a kid, but that dosnt count as a horror movie. So it was Scream who got me into horror and love it.

The only thing worse then bad movies is people who state their opinions as FACTS.

When I was a young borracho at the age of 6,my father, grandma and fave aunt had just passed away all in the same month. We lived about 20 ft. from the cemetery where they were all buried. One day my older brother brought home NOTLD 68.Scared the shit out of me.Watching a zombie flick, living next to a cemetery, with my dad buried a few feet away from the backyard.Scared me so much I got hooked on horror.Ever since then,Ive been looking for the next 'scary movie' that gave me that scare as a child.

The first horror movie I ever saw was "Alien 3" when I was four years old, but I don't think that's really definitive horror. My best guess for what REALLY got me into horror movies was "I Know What You Did Last Summer". After seeing that movie I remember making my own meat hook out of popsicle sticks. But really, I saw various horror and sci-fi stuff when I was still very young. "Tremors" was one of the first, but I wasn't scared by it. It was awesome. See, as a kid, I wasn't really exposed to a lot of the kiddy films other children saw. To this day I've never seen "Bambi" or the original "Aladdin". Hell, the first time I saw "Snow White" in its entirety was when I was eleven!
