Who should play Captain America?

Tough question, if they went with someone like Brad Pitt I wouldn't hate that idea, but I'm not sure who would be best.

Vin Deisel, Will Smith maybe.

The reason I say that because they are both great actors and they play very good in action films.

Vin Deisel is too gruff IMO for the role, doesn't have that all American feeling. And they're going with the original Captain America last I heard, so Will Smith wouldn't work.

if he wasnt 43 I'd say Neil McDonough would be great as Cap, but someone said Sam Worthington. I could see that. I could also see Tahmoh Penikett who was Helo on Battlestar Galactica in the role. I've always thought Matt Mcaunehey (I know I butchered that) should be in a superhero movie and I think he wouldn't be bad as cap. But you gotta think cap is the LEADER of the avengers. You gotta cast someone who can not only pull off the role, but can be believable as a leader of a superhero group.

And I think they proved with the casting of Thor that their more than willing to go off the wall and get someone you didn't expect. So who knows who they will end up casting. And I personally think they'll just use the war itsself as the main villain, but if they do end up putting The Red Skull in there I hope they don't "green goblin" his ass. Let the performance make the character. Don't dress him in a bunch of unnessary shit like they did Willam Dafoe as the goblin.
