I love how mortal enemies turn into best friends again, even after an attempted (and successful in the first film) murder was just committed on one of them 3 hours earlier. I don't see how you can defend a movie that ignores the ending of the first and resurrects every important cast member, so they can go through the same motions again, only against cheaper looking creatures.

The movie is also ridiculously sexiest (against men) and overtly racist.
Ignores the ending of the first, you mean like Evil Dead 2?

Anyway, I can live with the fact they ignore the ending (plot-hole), but I agree that they shouldn't have immediately begun helping each other, but then again, given the situation they were in they had very little choice.

The fact is I agree with a lot of your points to an extent, but like with horror flicks you have to suspend disbelief and accept some things as they come. Sure it had plot-holes, but (as I said earlier) the flick was still entertaining and gave me what I wanted -- violence, gore, interesting situations, and some nice creatures.

You must've not seen a trailer, pics, or read the premise of the movie before seeing it, because you're acting as though you had no idea what the movie was about or what to expect

Um no, they were in the same EXACT situation 3 hours prior in the original film, and they didn't act the same way. There is no competent excuse for this as there is none for the entire film, you like any stupid bullshit hurled your way, regardless of quality it appears :straightface2:

Your dumbass obviously expected too much from it. Guess what fool? it's a sequel! And sequels are usually rehashes of the first anyway. Yo fault for expecting some brilliant new horror flick

You're the fool for liking this shitfest

I didn't expect this to be very good, but I did not expect to see such a drastic drop off in terms of quality from the 1st. This is one of the worst modern sequels to land since The Exorcist 2.

The flick has a smaller budget plus a different director, so once again, expected too much

Was the budget smaller than the original Saw? I doubt it was, budget constraints are not an excuse for horrendously bad film making.

Just saying that some of the quality of the look of the film could be accounted for by the budget.

It had a $10,000,000 budget, which is more than the 1st film Einstein :straightface2:

Correction: This film had a higher budget than the first, which is sad because it doesn't exactly show

    Still enjoyed it regardless

I stand corrected. I guess the issue then lies on the first time director then

So you were completely un-informed, no wonder you liked it.

I actually forgot the budget of the first, however I don't see how being "un-informed" equals to me liking the movie

I think generally uninformed people are the only ones who can enjoy such ineptitude.
