I'm all for it as long as the level of violence is very much like Rambo maybe even having more but i can't see it considering how violent it was in that one.

I'm soooo ready for this. A force Rambo must fight that is stronger than him. A must see.

And after the gory greatness of the last 30-40 so minutes of the film, I know it will be fantastic.

Ya think? Most people his age would have given it up. Just because of age alone throws out suspension of disbelief. At 73 he should be better at a Grumpier Old Men sequel than some action flick.

Like, so many people out there were trying to track this down. And it just...got delivered on a tweet. What the hell.

I enjoyed it for what it was--just a silly action movie. Would've been nice to see Rambo tear shit up more in Mexico, but whatever. The action was good and so was the gore, but sadly most of it is towards the end and a lot of it felt a little too fast, like they barely had any time to wrap things up. All that aside, I enjoyed it. The last one was way better, but this wasn't entirely bad.

I loved the original and the one they made around 2008 I thought was pretty good.

Well, I actually seen this movie online when it was just out last year, because I know some sites that upload movies that are still showing in the pictures. Naughty, naughty.

Anyway, I'd love for somebody to explain what made this a Rambo outing. It barely felt like Sly was even playing Rambo any longer. It was more like a Taken type of flick, indicating it's another one of those "In name only" kind of sequels. In fact, the UK version omitted the opening segment with Rambo out in a storm, trying to save people from being swept away. The UK DVD begins after Rambo's first talk with Maria.

Plus, no offence, but Sly is what now? 73? Back in the 90's, I'd have been like, "F*ck yeah. Bring it on, Sly!" But now? His movies are so bog standard. The same applies to Bruce Willis or hell, even Arnie.

Do you know they got Rambo's date of birth wrong on his identity card? You actually see this in the movie too. When Gabrielle is with the Mexican guys, one of them shows Rambo's card, and it has his birthday as being 4 December, 1950. This is utter crap, because Murdock in the second movie read a file that had his DOB stated as being 7 July, 1947, although his location of birth is still correctly mentioned as being Arizona. It's also in the First Blood novel as well. So um, yeah. Who wrote this crap?

Apart from all of that jazz, there was hardly any action until the last 10 minutes at the ranch, and it was so run of the mill anyway. Virtually all a one-sided "battle" with these boring ass goons fallen for his Saw traps, and the mid-credits scene with Rambo getting on the horse was so "WTF?" in my eyes. It just didn't really like a Rambo movie at all, because he also never once mentions Richard Crenna or even any events from the prior movies. That kind of sucked.

Now Sly is gonna do sequels to more of his popular movies. Some from as far back as 1993 despite his OAP status. So I keep hearing, anyway.

    Uh!

Also, watch this guy's review. He is 110% correct.
