Ya know, I just made this thread for a simple and obvious reason. So why do you have to come in here for no reason and undermine my liking for Jason Vorhees? Okay, not really, but I didn't come in here looking for a fight. My initial comment was just to laugh at the comment made to Beweird cause I thought it was funny, but still silly because of how ultra sensitive people are being about a movie character.

I didn't say anything to anyone, just made a general comment about the silly insults, but yet it's somehow I was the one who came in here looking for trouble and "undermining" people's affection towards Jason. When it wasn't even me who started throwing petty insults.

Some people just need to grow up, and as both you and Ogre said, lighten up and not take everything so seriously.

I already touched upon this earlier in the thread but the more I think about it the more I realize how much I could have cared less about Ken in FvJ.

It was a different approach for sure with Ronny Yu but I did not care at all for the 'good guy' portrayal of Jason. Yea he had the high body count but he was made to look like the lesser of two evils, more importantly needing help from teens after being bitch slapped around both the dream world and regular world by Freddy.

Hindsight being what it is. It had to be done to make Freddy look good but I could have cared less for Ken as Jason or most of what they did with Jason in that flick as it was worse than Hodder's worst effort as Jason.

I like FvJ. In that movie Jason was the lesser of two evils as it was Freddy who was using his mindless killings to get back in the minds of the kids. The kids used him to give them a fighting chance against Freddy.
Basically he was used by everyone for their own means. The bastards.
And frnkly, Jason only got slapped around by Freddy cuz he moves at about a third of his pace. But every hit made by Jason was about the equivelant of twenty hits from Freddy.

I'm rather fond of all the Jasons, each actor brought something new to the table. However, Kane Hodder holds the cup, having played Jason the longest. He is adored by most fans. C.J. Graham and Ted White (?) are tied for second place with me. Still, all of them are far to entertaining to really pit against eachother. Jason, regardless of who plays him, is a badass and that's what makes the Friday films so fun to watch.
