In a sense, you still have to move. Cornering up even on Expert is a recipe for disaster.
The new special infected make sure of that. The Charger can incap a whole team if their holding hands in a corner and the Spitter at the very least causes massive splash damage for 4 people cornering up until they jump out.
The Jockey can take down an entire team once Melee-ed away from the person its attacking.
Is it me are people on the 360 less tolerant of using teamwork in L4D2? Can't even play realism or even any other difficulty without people not talking or wondering off by themselves.

Nah its regardless of console/PC.
Everybody has their own play style and then you just have dumbass morons who are not in it to actually contribute but do what they want and then rage quit or be kicked or team kill.
Some people play conservative at a slow pace in hope of reducing friendly fire and excess damage. Some people try to keep a consistent pace to reduce having to deal with hordes and respawning of special infected.
Some people try to rambo rush on any difficulty and you can get away with it on the easier difficulties but not on advanced or expert in either campaign or realism mode when you take anywhere 5% and 20% damage per hit from common infected.

anyone else getting some crappy laggy games on the 360? Seems much more rampant than on the original

I know the servers on the PC version have taken a lot of heat for being laggy much more so than the first game. I've only seen it a handful of times though and that's even with 8 vs 8 modded servers.

Dubbed "The Passing," the first game add-on for L4D2 brings the original Left 4 Dead (L4D1) Survivors down south for a meeting with the L4D2 cast, while delivering new single-player, multiplayer and co-operative gameplay.
Targeted for release in early spring, "The Passing" takes place just after the Dead Center campaign of L4D2. Set in a small town in rural Georgia, players assume the role of the L4D2 Survivors as they meet with the L4D1 characters.
In addition to the new co-operative campaign and associated narrative, "The Passing" will include new arenas for Survival, Versus and Scavenge mode and introduce a new co-operative challenge mode of play. The Passing will also include a new "uncommon common" zombie class, melee weapon, and firearm.
"The Passing will become the most important campaign in the Left 4 Dead story, as all the Survivors are being called together in one campaign," said Doug Lombardi, VP of marketing at Valve. "It will also be a huge offering of new gameplay content, with something new for every game mode plus a new uncommon common and weaponry."
The big question will be...
Can we play as the old survivors or will they simply just be involved in story passing form. The article blurs that line and implies LD42 characters playable only. I doubt Valve will make that mistake though.
