I personally don't view From Hell as a Horror Film. Had a few bloody moments that interrupted the periodic melodrama. In the end it was just another conspiracy theory movie.

I agree I think its more like Se7en sort of a crime/investigation with horror elements.

Great movie though, one of Depp's best performances.

You know, I actually didn't like this movie. I couldn't get into it, it was too long and I was so bored that I kept falling asleep. Maybe all the good parts happened while I was asleep....?

Great film, I need to see it again though. It's been a while and was wondering why there wasn't much hype for this movie at all.
