People Who Hate B&W Movies.

I have a friend who stupidly will not watch black and white movies simply because they're black and white. He's missing out! I mean black and white includes Citizen Kane, Gojira, Casablanca, On the Waterfront, Harvey, Seven Samurai, Metropolis, King Kong and obviously countless others. Narrow-minded bitch. Anyone else know anyone like this?

Casablanca was pretty good. I also dig Marx Bros. That said I can't think of many people I know who like B&W.

black and white is awesome. I hated when they colourized some classics.

There's nothing wrong with watching a movie B&W, it was the early days of cinema and they didn't have what we have now. Had some great story telling back then as well. I've never known anybody that wouldn't watch a movie in B&W, but I've known people that wouldn't watch a movie with subtitles. Personally, if you can't watch as it was supposed to be heard in their native tongues and only in an English dub, then why the hell watch them in the first place?

I've enjoyed many black and white movies, Howard Hawks and Hitchcock do more with black and white than most directors today can do with full HD color 3D CGI

I don't mind B&W films as some of them happen to be some of my favs. like Abbot and Costello Meet Frankenstein and Young Frankenstein. I don't go all out to watch them though as most B&W films don't really interest me.

Can't say that I do know of anyone around here that hates B&W movies. Lots of great classics have been mentioned. Noone has mentioned Night of the Living Dead or Psycho which I find kind of surprising.
