Will Twisted Pictures fix the TCM series?

    http://www.moviehole.net/200921014-d...massacre-texas

I'm curious as to what the horror community thinks about TCM going out of Michael Bay's money grubbing hands and going to Lionsgate. Will they just make one picture or run the series into the ground again like they have with the Saw series? I think this could be good for the TCM to have a fresh start after TCM:TB. I am worried about the whole 3D thing, what do you guys think? Maybe one day there will be a SAW TCM crossover

Really I didn't mind the second one but the guy from Full Metal Jacket made those movies worth checking out at least once.

The remake was shitty compared to the first and the only real thing that I thought was cool about the Beginning was the fact that everyone died, you dont see that too often in slasher because the girl always tends to survive. Other than the dude from FMJ and the ending to TCM:TB i really don't like the series. But hey that's me and my opinion, Im sure there are plenty of lovers of the remake and sequel

I loved the remake and really liked the Beginning. Had no problems with them and considering I really can't stand the Saw films this is bad news IMO.

Personally, I loved the remake of TCM. I preferred it from the original (going to get flamed). I don't see the point of remaking them again though. Maybe if they give it like 5 years. The Beginning was terrible imo.

I haven't been able to convince myself to watch the two latest movies, so I'm up for a reboot.

Both of the newer movies were alright. R. Lee Emery was a major reason why I enjoyed the movies. The switch in production doesn't mean to much to me, might be a smaller budget. I dont know.

Didn't care for either of the newer ones. It might be a change for the better I'll give it the benefit of the doubt and wait for some footage.

I don't know about this. Putting Lions Gate above Michael Bay in the "money grubbing" field is kind of a stretch lately.

Ever since Lion's Gate found gold with the Saw movies and animated Marvel films, they seem willing to piss all over the kind of movies that were their bread and butter up to that point.

As for the new movies -- I'm apathetic. 3D sounds like fun though.

If it's a sequel I'm fine with it. I did enjoy the two newer ones though (Frankly I hated ever TCM movie in the original series that wasn't the original movie). If it's a remake again however I'll just be kind of annoyed because it's unnecessary.

Also, I'm not feeling the 3D craze lately. I don't really think it makes anything better.

Out one one greedy man's hands and into the lap of an extremely greedy company... Two of the same thing, in my eyes. Lionsgate has been about maximizing profit at the expense of quality for years, in regards to horror and scifi films. So, this doesn't bother me much.

The remake to me was one of the better ones, so that's why I own it. Never saw TCM: TB though, although I'll probably check it out sometime soon. The idea of making the new one in 3D is fucking dumb, I hate this 3D gimmick, so I hope the fad passes soon.

Not really a bad idea, but really 3-D is such a distraction to a films potential.

I would agree for it if they keep it standard and not fall into all this damn 3-D shit.

Now when are we going to get Freddy vs. Jason 2 started?
