The Beginning was the best of the two new ones.
Would have rather seen Platinum Dunes take one more crack at a sequel except they fucked themselves over in that remake with what they did to Leatherface so it forced them to go prequel which was a good movie.
If anything I do think the new series reinvigorated my interest in Leatherface but im not sure if yet another vision of him is something I want to see especially if he takes a back seat or becomes goofy like he was in Next Generation and TCM 2. Have yet to TCM 3 all the way through but from what little I've seen they didn't really screw around with him too much.
I'd hope another film would be in similar fashion to TCM 74 or TCM The Beginning but not like the remake, TCM 2 or TCM The Next Generation.

The problem with constantly doing TCM movies is there isn't much to build.
It all ends up being same situation, different people. With the way the story is set-up, there's not a whole lot of room for variety.

What the hell is this crap?! I mean, I'd love another film with them crazy Hewitts, and in fact, I'd be thrilled to see them expand on their various roles in getting victims. But in 3-D? That's a stupidass idea.
