Sorry I don't like your shitty genre of "horror", but I wasn't pointing anyone out. You or Meta was not on my mind at all while typing my post. I know a lot of people (ya know real life?) who are into "underground horror" which is nothing but some gore, naked chicks, and horrible stories with horrible actors. Then they say "oh you gotta see this!" and it's nothing special. It's not scary, it's pointless and shouldn't be classified as horror.

Oh and Cata sorry that you are so utterly obnoxious that you think every post I make is about you. If you have any beef with me or the way I think you can do it via pm. Until then, don't start ranting to me in topics if you don't like my opinion, because I will not read them.

You are saying horror films have to be scary . DM you are a year or 2 beyond my age and if you still find movies scary, I dont know what to say. Sex and violence go together in the horror media. Ever since the 60's and 70's these have been horror elements in the genre.

Yeah I am 21 years old, almost 22 and when I say scary I don't mean I am hiding under my blankets with fear. Sex and violence do go well in horror movies, I give you that, but when a movie is based on just random killing and massive amounts of nudity then it becomes pointless. What I like in a film is if it can make me cringe, jump, or just overall find it creepy. That is true horror. A bunch of women going around making out with one another and then getting stabbed is not my idea of horror? When you think of horror, you think of zombies, vampires, werewolves, slashers, sci-fi, torture porn, ect.

I am a fan of underground horror. I love the fact that it's not made for the mainstream, but when movies have an over abundance of sex or random violence to shock the audience, it becomes dull, boring and not true horror in my opinion.

Sorry, it's just the way I see it and don't know why I am getting flamed for it. I wouldn't think I would be the only person on this board to think this way?

I just wish they weren't so damn mainstream. I sure do love my zombie flicks, but there seems to be a massive overload lately. But I agree, I think zombie films dominate the horror franchise.
