    Weird foresty flick.

This one is going to be a real challenge for you all. I've ever seen this once as a kid, and I only remember parts of it, plus I dont think its even a horror movie, though there were some horror movie-elements to the scenes I saw.

First thing I remember, which also is a first scene of the film (I guess), is this villager finding a weird skeletal corpse in a field, its head resembling that of a horse.

Later on, few more people come to investigate it, they all dressed up like this happened during 1500-1800's but one thing is certain that its not based on modern day. Reverend in a church starts talking about demons when they talk about the strange corpse in the field.

Next thing I remember is a group of kids in a hedge maze, they start seeing this weird blonde woman in white ghastly dress, running away from them, they follow her deeper into the maze. Theres something eerie to her, like shes not human, and definitely isnt some sort of a kind fairy.

last thing I remember, they had accompanied with this strange woman, and they were playing hide and seek with a blindfold. They blindfolded one of the kids, rolled him around, and then told him to touch them. First it was all fun and nice, but when the boy was about to catch the playful strange woman, she suddenly grabs the kid from the throat, and starts choking him, dragging him off screen violently, leaving the screen focus on the backround with group of terrified kids staring at what's going on.

Like I said, I'm not even sure if this is a horror movie, but what i remember keeps pestering me, and I really want to know what this film was. I doubt even you guys are able to find out though.

Nooonono, I saw this as a kid, and I'm 20 years old. I think I was 10 years old when I saw this.

It might sound a lot like that movie with the weird cult, and guy being burned inside a huge figure made of straws, but its not that either.

EDIT: It had the same feel to it though. You know, ancient folklore, beautiful, playful, childish, but dangerous and deadly.

No, it was not that either. kids in that movie tended to dress like in the "old days", It was like a little puritan village. And the lady in white looked more hippie-like. Like some sort of a druid priestess or something. Plus the hedge-maze events happened in daytime. Cool find though.

I did enjoy the skeletal remains being thrown over the barricade walls. That was fun.

Haha, that looked cool. Not sure even if it would be just that movie, because that video didnt have any of the scenes I described, nor does any googled movie synopsis. Feel felt the same though. that weird hallucinogenic feeling, though some of the effects were pretty silly. Plus the movie which I saw seemed a little bit newer, and it didnt have that much of explosions or weird effects, at least on those parts I saw.

Im not sure of the name, but I think I know what your talking about, seems like 2 of the main children were a brother and sister, and I think the boy was kinda evil or something, i remember there was a ghost woman in it but I think only the boy could see, and she tells him things to do, and I think the brother died at the end, I remember much of it centered around a barn the kids liked to play in too, does any of this seem familiar? cant remember the name, seen it on a channel middle of the night, unheard of horror movie showings some channels used to have about 10-15 years ago. I also remember it was made in the early 80's with kinda a little house on the prairie feel to it as far as looks and period feeling

My early post (Eyes of fire) is not the movie you're looking for.

Can it be The Maze (1985)?

The film opens in 17th century England with Ralph Gower (Barry Andrews) uncovering a deformed skull with one eye and strange fur upon it while plowing a field. The local judge (Patrick Wymark) is asked to look at it, but the skull has vanished and the judge disregards Ralph's supernatural fears. However, later many people in the village become affected by this supernatural power, including a young woman who sprouts a claw and children who behave oddly after finding a strange claw and start to grow fur on their bodies.

The farmer who first found the skull rides to a neighboring town to find the local judge and bring him back to try and eradicate the evil. The judge does come back after having done some research in a book about witchcraft. After getting some information about a future cult gathering of the evil children in the village, the judge takes some men to the spot and they kill the satanic beast, whose remains had been dug up by the farmer at the start of the film, and who is responsible for the evil infecting the populace.

Wow, thanks! I thought I'd never find its real title!
