would be good if they finally told the truth about it. Its funny how the people that have lived there since have not experienced anything. If that house was so evil then anyone who went in there would be affected It was a murder plain and simple that was then used but the lutzes to get money, fame whatever.
I think the STORY was good but thats all it was a story.

Finally? This was outed as a hoax before the first film adaptation was released (and that was nigh on 3 decades ago at this point). I do however think it would make a more interesting film if it dealt with it as a hoax from outset.

I liked the remake. This is way too soon to do it again. I also read in that article that apparently they are also remaking Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I didn't know that. TCM is one of my favorite horror franchises. I'm a little torn. I don't think there needs to be another remake, but I will be curious enough to see it. Sadly, the same will probably go for Amityville.
