MY first horror movie!!??

It was one of the Nightmare On Elm Street films; can't remember which one. My babysitter at the time always watch the films when she babysit me.

I think it was "Werewolf of London", an old 1940s film. I was about 7 or 8 and it took some convincing to get my parents to let me watch it. I was going through a "phase" at the time where I was obsessed with all things horror-related and drew countless pictures of zombies, demons and vampires. I think my parents thought I'd grow out of it. I'm now 33 and still going through the same phase.

I can't say for sure but i narrowed it down to few of the earilest that I can remember watching.

Either the Twilight Zone episode with the gremlin on the side of the plane,Critters and Gremlins I saw at a very,very young age....early 90's.. but not sure if those were my first,Jaws has to be mentioned and I think one of those black and white old school horrors like the fly or the wolfman...

I know I was watching horror movies since birth, but the 1st one I actually clearly remember watching is Aliens, when I was 6.

Salems Lot i believe. Cant remember how old i was i know it was b4 i was 10. It scared the crap out of me. Could not look at the window when i went to bed!!

Yep,Salems lot for me too. It was on TV when I was 7 or 8 and scared the shit out of me.
The scene where he is scratching on the window scared me so bad I had to sleep with the lights on and was afraid to look out any windows,I wanted nothing to do with horror films for a few years,until one night I was watching Cinamax and they were showing Fade to Black and Phantasm and after I was hooked.

mine was psycho (the original) i was about 5 my gran was babysitting and put it on. my mum had a fight or her hands to get me in the shower for about a week!

I must have been about 5 when I watched Evil Dead late one night at my cousin's place. The also had copies of all the friday the 13th that were out up to that point. whenever we had the chance, we'd put on a new scary movie...been hooked ever since.
