WTF is the first thing that comes to mind.

Paramount, is taking conversions of the film and putting them in 3-D so they could see if it works or not. If so, in the next 10 days, we will get an answer. Mostly due to the success of avatar:straightface2:

After watching Avatar in 2-D and 3-D (hell, I didn't pay for it), I can safely say I wouldn't pay to see Clash in 3-D. I'll take that extra 5-10 bucks a ticket and blow it on over priced milk duds, thank you very much.

I saw the trailer the other day in 3-D and it looks fucking IMMENSE!!! I was always a fan of the original movie, and I think this is gonna be amazing. I got my rocks off when the Kracken showed it's face at the end of the trailer!!!!

My biggest problem with 3-D is that some filmmakers fail to use it the right way. Some use it as a distraction from a films real potential.

Come on, in any case a BAD film would be good in 3-D (Final Destination 4), which wasn't that bad, but nevertheless not that amazing either and was too fucking short.

In films, I don't really have an issue with 3-D. So far, I have had the option of 2-D if I wanted. What bothers me about 3-D in movies is backlash. Avatar was made into a console game, in 3-D. That scares the fuck out of me, and the game sucked.

I don't want 3-D's popularity in films to somehow spill over into gaming and convince game devs to branch out. I can imagine a season of fucked up, nightmarish games made in 3-D because game devs tried to follow a fad but end up making more games like Avatar, that focus way too much on "ooo, pretty colors" and ignore game mechanics.

Idiots in suits wanting to cash in on new fads have done enough. I fear the 3-D fad's backlash...

I'm not bitching about it! I just tired of every film I really really really want to see being made in 3-D. Look how long we have to wait until we can see Cabin In The Woods, better yet, if they make this film into 3-D we will have to wait another year! But, I could really care less if it's in 3-D or not, just so the movie has potential.

I don't like the whole 3D gimmick. That's kiddie stuff to me. I want movies to be movies. Leave the 3D for DisneyLand attractions.
