Decent ep. Next ep looks good

ok episode, weakest of the 3 so far, but i still like hte possibilities. This show seems like it has real potential in its second season, once AMC fully gets behind it.

Ep3 = slow, but building up the tension. A bit silly with the handcuffs etc, but hey ho...Bring On Da Zombies

Hacksaws cannot cut through all metal... some you need a blowtorch for.

Very true but my father was a Journeyman Welder, that worked on U.S.Naval ships. He also did heliarc welding on stainless steel which doesn't burn with a normal torch, etc.. We watched Saw together back when it was new, and he was commenting on how easy it was to go through that kind of pipe with a hacksaw. He also made fun of all the welding scenes in Aliens, for their glaring inaccuracy (that was way back in 87 though).

tv and movies are always full of this kind of stuff though. I mean we could sit all day and night poking holes in films for this kind of stuff. Its a bit of a nitpick.

that is a brilliant point. why dont they try to cut through the pipes instead of the chain. people are just like omg chain i cant cut that my leg must be easier. nice job steelba/steelba's dad

It's a TV program...a fictitious show. If it followed real life on every little point it would be boring as fuck.

Anyway Episode 3 was greatness. Loved Shane giving a beat down..brutal. Norman Reedus

yo what up with writers trying to create dramatic tension and suspense, rather than being realistic about the zombie apocalypse? I'm not familiar with the comic, but so far I'm enjoying the show.

Choptop taht is because you lack taste. I agree that this last episode was slow but I am still loving it and there are a lot of things that they are taking from the comic but I love this new story line!

Agreed, i'm sure me or you would definitely try the pipes first, who in the F wouldn't? Also you can just break or dislocated your thumb and slip the handcuffs off that way, it's how Houdini did it.

For people that get paid millions of dollars they aren't very intelligent. Just goes to show, it's not what you know, but who you know.

not to be rude but as pointed out before it is just a ... SHOW! I am sorry but with a few good kicks to a pipe that rusted he would have been freed and would have never needed to use the tools. but than he was slowly going mad and probably scared half to death over the thought of a bounce of Geeks (yes I so stole that from the show and am going to use it) coming through the door and having him for lunch. I mean the thing that I don't get is if he had a belt than why didn't he just jam the pointy part in and shack around the key hole, that is why cops are having to do away with the old metal cuffs to easy to pick with ANYTHING....

Keep in mind that the guy was in a pretty dire situation and wasn't of sane mind, so these other ways to go about his escape probably didn't even occur to him, or at least we could possibly use that as an excuse for the writers

exactly, hindsights always 20/20, and steel as much as you wanna say its who you know and not what you know, i idnt know you've known someone who survived a zombie attack..do go on. If we went after the realism of most movies and tv shows and got rid of it all, man they would be extremely boring.

4th episode was interesting enough, enjoyed it a lot more.

Ep 4 - awesome. Top gore and kills. Pity that amc are going to have us wait a full year for season 2....

My feelings as well. I can't wait till the next year, apparently they are going to have about 13 episodes next year! That will be nice.
