Going into the final two episodes...im kinda thinking and hoping we don't get 400 deaths for the sake of it, especially in light of the most recent episode. As annoyed as I have been with Glenn and Maggie. I wouldn't want them to go either, especially Glenn. He has more to do.

They have done the whole 'them being forced to be on the road' 3 out of 4 seasons thus far. I'm kinda hoping they break away from that formula to be honest.

Thinking they all merge at Terminus. Turns out to be a big clusterfuck and perhaps it ends on that note as opposed to what we've seen before. Perhaps the Hunters from the comics get introduced as a tease for the finale. I don't think it will be a place for them to settle.

I kinda hope the group Daryl's with, doesn't stay for too long. Not really interested in a group full of the same kind of guys. Hopefully if we get a lot of deaths, that perhaps most of them intersect with that group.

My hope is that Daryl hangs with that group just as long as it's convenient for him but they end up coming across other members of the original group and when Daryl's "gang" goes to engage them, Daryl ambushes them from behind and then reunites with whomever it may be from the original group.

No idea what is actually going to happen though, although I do feel that there is a good chance we'll lose 1 or more long-time characters before the end of the finale.

Well...potential rumored spoilers ahead (no actual names)

The rumor mill suggests a major character whose still alive in the comics now, will die before the seasons over. If we were to believe that, the choices are very slim. Beth also doesn't exist in the comics. Neither does Daryl.

Beth would be the obvious casualty and most of the time, this show tends to be obvious. It's already a pattern. Each year, we lose at least a couple people and pretty much always people associated with the core group. Which is a shame because they already do a spotty job at best with the core group and have a hard enough time doing things with the newer characters.

I think next season, one of the new themes they will probably try to explore is a new 2nd in command behind Rick. Whether its Abraham or Tyreese or even Glenn. Hell, it could even be Carol for all we know, after her and Rick meet face to face again.

I think the next obvious choice behind Beth is Glenn or Maggie. All of their questionable decisions point to one of them getting axed if not Beth. But again, back to the idea of a new 2nd in command. Makes me think Daryl will do something to get himself killed. Despite what he means to the show's popularity. I could see Kirkman pulling the trigger on it for the kill of the season behind Hershel.

So I guess.

I'm not a big fan of the show, and my viewing has been spotty since about a third through S2, but even I know that they cannot kill Daryl. The day the producers wake up and think they're making Game of Thrones is the day they start looking for new jobs. Killing off a main character that's killed off in the comic, that's understandable. Killing off Daryll would be them being stupid, since he's their creation in the first place so there's no excuse besides some writer or producer deciding to flex ego. They let too many worthless characters live too long already.

I'm actually surprised they didn't bother with the idea of splitting him off the main group for the spinoff, which is set to be coming sometime next year or after if I recall.

In retrospect, its what I think they should've done with Shane. Even though I liked the outcome of the Rick/Shane arc, because it had some of the best scenes the show has done, especially the last episode they did together. I would have went with the idea of him saying fuck it and leaving by himself or with Andrea. They would've always had him bumping into Rick's group again in their back pocket, down the line. It would've opened up so many avenues, but that's history.

Instead who knows fuck all what the spinoff will be about. It should be about the French. set in Europe, following what Jenner was talking about at the end of Season 1,but I doubt they'll ask the TWD fanbase to remember that far back. It'll likely be a bunch of regular fellas set on the West coast US or something.

The West Coast (LA and Vegas and the deserts between) would be great to watch. Be some interesting eps on how places like Brentwood or Baldwin Park dealt with zombies .

In my opinion, I feel like characters ripen like fruit. So while I wouldn't say the more popular a character is the more likely they are to die, they do have to reach a certain level of popularity before they've "earned" the death.

Not a bad ep. Did anyone catch the Bub zombie in the tunnel? There was a zombie that looked just like Bub from Day of the Dead in there. Noticed it right away

Anyway, finale next weekend. From the promos it looks like we'll be following Rick and them. I'm seriously hoping they show us more Terminus stuff, because if they pull some BS where they follow Rick and them the entire time then Terminus in the last 5/10 mins I'm gonna be pissed

I have pretty much lost complete interest in this show. For me it was a fad that died out (no pun intended) rather quickly during season 2 and the first half of season 3.

Not like I wasn't sold on this show either, I loved it. Season 2 was abysmal and season 3 although better than season 2 could not help it recover. So many other better shows on TV now I simply don't care about this anymore, not enough time to try and squeeze this in when I don't really care anymore.

Perhaps a spinoff with a different set of characters and different environment would be what this franchise needs.

If they killed off Daryl, they'd lose at least 1/2 of their female audience. I've been saying for some time, he's the reason the show has so much draw. It certainly isn't the writing and other than Mcbride, it's not the acting.

Not as good as last weeks, but still certainly not what I was expecting either.

1. About half the group is at terminus
2. Joe and Daryl getting buddy buddy, which will probably pay off if they run into Rick
3. Glenn FINALLY shows he gives a shit about someone besides Maggie
4. I always like a rescue scene and I thought that was a great one

Interesting when rumors initially began about the project. They were sort of hinting that the spinoff would be made up of only completely new characters. However according to that article, it seems to indicate a hint from Kirkman that the spinoff could possibly include someone from the existing main cast, speculatively speaking.

The obvious choice would be Daryl (assuming he makes it out of this season).

I just kinda hope its Morgan or someone we don't expect IDK.
