no doubt Id rather see Bane instead of the Penguin...though I think a nice Penguin cameo in his "nightclub owner/informant" role would work but no way as the main movie villian

People have speculated that Cobblepot's nightclub, The Iceberg Lounge, was the club Batman found Maroni in in The Dark Knight.

I still say I'd like to see Killer Croc in a batman movie... if done properly, he would work well in the nolan-verse..

I'd like to further expound on that thought a little... When I say properly, I mean that Croc would not be portrayed in his modern comicbook incarnation of a half-reptile superhumanly strong mutation... I'm talking about his original character format, a big muscle-bound homicidal former wrestler with a really bad skin condition that files his teeth to points for dramatic effect...

As the Nolan Batman Universe likes to inject a heavy dose of pseudo-realism into the comicbook movie genre, I think it would work quite well... He would be nothing too fantastic or unrealistic, but still nasty and just far enough removed from reality to maintain the aura of the out-of-the-ordinary that makes comicbook movies worth watching.

And I'm not saying he should be the MAIN VILLAIN in the flick, but at least a strong supporting "heavy" in the flick... much like in the Joker comic miniseries, where he played the Joker's muscle...

If done right, there could be mutilple villains in a film, so since we all seem to be stuck with villains, I came up with the circus of freaks, consisting of: Penguin, Kill Croc and Bane. I think it would be a good idea, because those characters all have some sort of deformity about them in ways that are frightening and insane.

Then again, I wouldn't mind seeing a female villain in the act, I think the only Female villain that would be good in this film that was in a batman series would be Catwoman.

Then two, who would play all of these characters.

I know Mickey Rourke would make a good Bane.

I myself am a long time Mr.Freeze fan and I am heavily convinced that he has potential to be a great movie villain.Now as much as i enjoyed watching Arnold Schwarzenegger do his cheezy one liners about ice with a bigass ice making gun.They fucked up with Mr.Freeze...so i'm all shits and giggles about a small posibility that they myight actually put Freeze in a new batman movie.

David Goyer to write "The Man of Steel."

Today is huge comic book movie news Wednesday. With the Captain America finalists breaking over at Marvel, we got something from the world of DC.

Our notorious trusted source 'Pinche Taco' came up big for us...

I know a lot of you folks are going to ask "Isn't Goyer writing the third Batman film?" Goyer is only helping in the story, he ain't writing it. Just like The Dark Knight where he only helped with the story.

So you will believe un hombre can fly! Te Juro. The talented David Stephen Goyer, the man who made sure Nolan stuck to the legend of El Dark Knight, has been hired to write the next chapter. Here is what El Taco can tell all you ninos....


1.Thomas Tull, the head of Legendary, got tired of all the discussion and decided chingate, let's do it. So he went to Goyer and Goyer had an idea that actually takes the movies back to the John Byrne incarnation. Modern. Believable. FUN! So Tull got Goyer hired.
2.The film will not be called Superman and will be called THE MAN OF STEEL.
3.Brandon Routh will not star in the film.
4.Nic Cage will NOT star in the fllm (lol)
5.Bryan Singer is not expected to direct.
Conoces como Mark Millar walks around acting like he was going to write it? El Taco discovered that this was always BULLSHIT. Paul Levitz hated the guy and he was never even discussed to write it. He made all that "almost" stuff up.

I can tell you that Goyer's story involves Luthor and Brainiac. It is NOT an origin and assumes audiences already know about Lois, Clark, Jimmy and Perry. I know the Daily Planet is struggling due to the internet. And I know it sets up a huge Kryptonian mythology.

El Taco is muy excited about this. This could be the Superman movie we deserve!

Well Mr. Freeze is officially out of the running for the main villain in Batman 3. I agree with Warbeast that Killercroc should be in the next film.

I wouldn't mind a new Superman movie... but I doubt it'll wash the taste out of my mouth from the last one. i also expect the next batman to be a turd... the main thing that made TDK good (and not amazing) is dead.

would be kinda funny to see Killer Croc and Bane get into a fight. But if they use bane better do him right, make him a smart as hell assassin and not some dumbass henchman like he was in that crappy schumacker movie. Need to have Catwoman in there too I think. Would be cool to see how Bruce reacts to her, they're chemistry in the comics always makes for some good stuff.
