Done any benchwork stuff, like scopes or special ammo? I have basically given up on campfire and just eat what I find, but extra armor piercing ammo sounds fairly good.

Just wiped out The Legion

Wiped out most of the Powder gang camps. Taking my time and focusing on the southwestern area. In no hurry to hit the strip.

Pretty much what I did. I didn't hit the strip until a little over 50 hours in

Pain in the ass trying to locate certain parts for bench work. I think I stumble across new places searching for extra scrap metal or parts more than I do looking for exp.

I know i'm late to this thread but i loved all the Fallout games, except for that crappy ass one they made for the PS2 that just pissed me off. If you guys don't mind outdated graphics but want a very solid story and RPG game go check out Fallout 1 & 2 also FO tactics is a very good game as well. Like i said they are very dated I think FO1 came out in 96 maybe? I'm not sure, but they are def worth looking at if you can find them

I've already reached the level cap, explored most of the map, killed all the Mother and Legendary Deathclaws and am working my way through the strip since most of the quests outside the strip I've finished. I must have put in 100 hours plus into the game.

Snipe them, the Gauss and the Sniper rifle will tear them to shreds, just make sure you have a light machine gun for when they finally get close

got to one spot with a shit load of death claws there was a belt that sent rocks up a mountain right next to them, apparently they can go up it so i sat there and killed em, dont remember where it was tho, was by the water and a train site

Other than the minor bug here and there.. I love my FNV. -pets it- Well, there was a major bug in the beginning and I had to restart because it kept freezing when I tried going into buildings. But I was only 2 hours in so no biggie. Not sure how many hours I'm on but I just hit level 27 and I'm close to the NCR ending. Has anyone gone through Sierra Madre? I fucking hate that place.. I gave it a try a few levels ago and.... meh.

There are several more pockets of them besides that one. What was really fun is when you're just running around exploring and all of a sudden you run up on a whole nest of those suckers

I killed all the special Deathclaws with the .50 Cal. Sniper Rifle. That gun is like wielding Thor's hammer itself.

Well, after a 100 hours I finally beat the game. Unfortunately, I had purchased the Dead Money DLC before beating it and was unaware that you can't continue the game after you complete it .. So now I've gotta revert to an older save if I wanna play Dead Money
