Meh, it's ok. I don't like my sequels to be a complete rehash of the first one. Some of the effects were kind of fucking lame and the whole premise of the story was fucking stupid. It had good gore though. It was quite boring until the climax then it got interesting. The scares were all lame and the dialogue was fucking atrocious. The ending was beyond fucking stupid..and I hate when stories turn into..

There's a guy who feeds/helps these fucking monsters? It's probably going to be revealed in the third one that one of em is his ancestor or some bullshit. Fucking gay. I was content with the cop getting out alive..

Overall..6.5/10. I'll throw up a review tomorrow.

Yes, but uh, those things couldn't be his grandfather. The evolution process would take hundreds-thousands of years.

I already played that scenario out in my head and if that's what's going to happen in Descent 3 then that's just laughable.

If they make a third I wouldn't mind seeing'em above ground. Like if a squad or some group blows the cave entrances/exits up while some cave dwellers are out hunting for food and get trapped above ground, forced to seek shelter and wreck havoc in the nearby towns

I am a little confuse with the creature going out in the light. In the fist part you get a sense they are nocturnal...and the way their eyes are, they have to be in the dark...they use eco-location or whatever you call it to track down their preys, but in part two you see them going outside. :starefreak:

You don't necessarily see them go out into the light. If you're talking about the one main hunter coming back down into the cave with that deer, we're lead to presume that the hillbilly dude was up there and left it for it. That would also explain why he was there when the cop lady escaped.

Agreed Movie sucked. Loved the 1st one. Hated this POS. The story makes no sense whatsoever...
I do like Fright's idea for a third. Have them come out of the caves. Hiding in their victim's homes during the day and hunting at night would be cool. How many times can they just keep sending people into the caves to be slaughtered?
And the redneck could be feeding the things so they don't go into town to kill the townies.
