The Guinea Pig series, Tumbling Doll of Flesh and Grotesque are the ones that are now popping up in my mind. Whereas Saw has a storyline, these Japanese movies are just empty (nihilistic?) torture flicks, hardly with a dialogue.

Movie is pretty freaky but its nowhere as disturbing as the original Sade's book. Book has stuff like child-rape, shit-eating, and one bloody killing orgy in the end.

The Girl Next Door - This had a fucked up premise. The movie was very well done and yet I hated it because of what it involved...

I had a hard time watching that one. I even gagged, and had to turn my head for a second. It was a very good film though.

Oldboy as a weird experence of a film. I think because it explored concepts that a majority of hte society I grew up in are firmly against. I can't forget though the sound of a guy's teeth being pulled out with the teeth of a hammer.

Agreed when I first watched it and the whole story pans out I yelled out did that really freaking happen. Old Boy is truly well done and a classic.
