    Just watched it today since I'm off work. It was great and I was thrilled somebody finally got the Predator formula right after 20 years.

    Also to me the Topher Grace character was infinately more annoying than the convict.

    Completely agree. Transition flicks in general have a FUBAR track-record status: games-to-flicks, books-to-flicks, comics/graphic novels-to-flicks, short stories/short films-to-movies. Nearly all terrible... nearly.

    Still, the original material is there. Just got to find a director that can translate that material to the big screen better than the "quality" we have come to expect... and not be hung up by decision-making suits.
