recommendation??

I'm a big fan of ghost movies (think The Others and The Sixth Sense), so can anybody recommend me good ghost movies? Old or new, i don't care. Thanks.

Here's a quick list from my dvd collection...

The Fog (remake or original). 1408, Dead Silence, Echo, The Grudge 1/2/3 (or the Jap Originals), The Eye (remake or original), the Ring or Ring Two, House on Haunted Hill, Return to the House on Haunted Hill, Haunting in Connecticut, Mirrors, the Messangers, the Orphanage, Outpost, One Missed Call, Poltergeist (sequals to, but first was the best), Pulse (original or remake), Shutter, Stay Alive, Thirteen Ghosts, Wind Chill.

Some are good, some are bad, some will make you hate me for mentioning them. All in all, you asked... enjoy.

Mirrors, The Orphanage, and The Devils Back Bone are about the only real good ones I cant think of right now.

It was ok, one of the Ju-0n's was the best i've seen can't remember which it was, but it had school girls and a giant bottle of Sake in it. Again I loathe the ghost genre as nothing is lamer.

I totally agree. I don't think I've seen a good ghost movie other than Poltergeist. I gave up on the genre when I witnessed the abortion that is White Noise.

hmm..i've seen most of these but thanx for the suggestions, guys and gals. I just recently watched this English movie called The Disappeared. By no means a classic...but it wasnt bad.

The original Pulse and Seance were both really good. I usually hate ghost movies but I have love for Kyoshi Kurosawa movies. IMO the only director who gets it right. Also the original The Eye as well as most stuff by the Pang Brothers.
