I got bored the other night, and this is on the Netflix watch now list so I figured what the hell. I haven't seen Rec so I have nothing to compare it to, but I may check that out one of these days. This movie was all kinds of retarded but in a funny way that made me chuckle, atleast some of it. If you don't want this movie spoiled you mine as well not read this. I can't really complain about it without spoilin it.

Soooo this chick (dexters sister from the showtime show dexter) is a reporter and they go with these fireman on a call to a building that what do you know? Is infested with fast as hell zombies. Cool concept, and I like the idea of using the camera but it should have been done in just a couple scenes to add some realism. Not the whole damn movie. The man girl freaking out as much as she did literally made me wanna go through the screen and shake and slap the hell out of her. God she was annoying at times.

And the camera man lugging around this big ass camera? yeah right. This isn't some lil camcorder this is a TV station mobile camera. Its big. I have a hard time thinking he ran around with this thing all damn night. Plus beat a zombie to death with it (and the lens didn't even crack). And I love the fact the "sick" little girl was good throughout the whole movie until they went "holy crap it started with the girl" then BAM she goes all zombie crack baby and runs up the stairs when everyone else takes about 5 minutes to become a zombie. And another thing, can we please not treat the audience like idiots and actually SAY the word zombie? For crying outloud "whats wrong with them! whats wrong with them!" umm there nuts and trying to eat you and they've come back to life, their zombies lady get over it and run away already. And the fire figther that fell like god knows how many stories face first on to the lobby (hilarious scene). He comes limping out and there trying to HELP HIM. Some people are so stupid....I mean the guys obviously not right. Hell he was even trying to bite them. Oh and another thing about the little girl. Dude goes "inject her with this!" yeah cuz that'll work like it clearly worked on the guy u used it on that got up anyway and chomped on your partner....riiiight. This movie was freakin retarded! Oh and the ending....god that was horrible. What a stupid ass ending.

Watch REC. I did the same as you and watched Quarantine first. It was a big mistake. Quarantine is drivel compared to REC.

Y'all are a bunch of donkeys, I couldn't stand Jennifer Carpenter. REC was far superior to Quarantine which BTW would never have been made except for the fact that American audiences are to dumb and afflicted with ADD to read subtitles.

I still plan on seeing Rec. I hear the endings are similar but Rec 2 continues the story and theres gonna be a Rec 3. I hear theres gonna be a quarantine 2 but I read on Wikipedia (I know very unreliable) and they said it'll take place in an airport and will have no connection with part 1 except its the same virus! sigh...

I was lucky and watched REC 1st , then watched Quarantine just to see..........the acting was so much better in REC , Jennifer Carpenter is a pretty bad actress and Quarantine showcases that. Still gotta watch REC 2 but will pass on Quarantine 2.

The conudrum of a good sequel is how do you scare the audience if they already know who the ghost is?
