haha...i thought i was the only one who thought 28 days later was overrated. I loved the first half of that film but the second half (with the military and all that) bored me. I LITERALLY fell asleep drooling on my gf's shoulder haha.

underated--troma movies(i think they are fun, granted not very well done but the capture the essence of what i loved about the 80's they are fun and gorey and shocking at times)

overrated--rob zombie(i think almost everything he has done is mediocre at best, the orignal version of house of 1k corpses was way better but most people will never see it and the devils rejects is good but not amazing eveything else is lame and i hate it imo)

Overrated: Last House on the Left (1972)
It is not disturbing. It's just sorta icky to watch, and not in the good way that's supposed to make it unsettling or creepy. Everything I remember about it just seems dirty and unkempt. And the ending. What the hell was that?

Underrated: I Know What You Did Last Summer
People are always equating it to "Scream", and I feel that's unfair. I love this movie! I think the thing that works for it is that it doesn't deal with stupid hallucinations that the characters think they might be having because of their suppressed sense of guilt. I mean, we the audience KNOW the fisherman is actually there. And it works, in my opinion.

People are always equating it to "Scream", and I feel that's unfair. I love this movie! I think the thing that works for it is that it doesn't deal with stupid hallucinations that the characters think they might be having because of their suppressed sense of guilt. I mean, we the audience KNOW the fisherman is actually there. And it works, in my opinion.

Ok I was around when this hit the theater in the 90's and was "the new in movie". The movie isn't an 8 or a top tier horror film, it is already well thought of by general fans. The flick isn't a hardcore horror film so it will never be able to please the hardcore fan or market.

No way it's underrated, i'd even give it a 6.
