As a fan of the comics I'm pretty excited for this, but yeah, the helmet does look a tad big. Will just have to see it in action before I can make a judgement.

looks pretty good. Helmet still looks to big but thats not gonna stop me from watchin this. Budget was only $45 million so maybe overseas will save it.

While it looks good, despite the over sized helmet... I can't help but be reminded of another film pertaining to cops going up a large building controlled by a criminal organization.

Judge Dredd was filmed before The Raid. And besides if it wasn't for rip-offs we wouldn't have gotten Friday the 13th which they've flat out admitted "we wanted to rip off halloween". I think the Dredd trailer looked much better on the big screen. Might actually catch this one in 3D.

Saw this last night and it was absolutely amazing. The movie is non-stop action and ultra-violence from start to finish.

The main villain "Ma-Ma" is truly great and Lena Headey made this character a standout performance and one of the best movie villains in recent memory. The downside of the movie is that she doesn't have many scenes. I would liked to have seen her in the movie more than she was.

The movie is dark and nothing like the Stallone version. This is a true to form "dark" Dredd and the movie buzzes with style in all it's bloody glory.

The action sequences are jaw dropping and loud. The 3D and slow-motion sequences which are caused by the drug are eye popping awesomeness! Whoever has any doubts about this movie, really shouldn't doubt it any longer.

If you like non-stop action, great, bloody gunfights you don't have to look any further.

There's a redband clip that recently came online, and my mind was blown for the entire minute. That is how you do Slow Motion, it was hypnotizing to watch. I am really really psyched to see this. Finally a hard core comic is getting a rightfully deserved hardcore movie.

There are some perks to living near NY and having friends that work "in the business". Apparently they held this screening in NY in conjunction with one they had at ComicCon.

Now that it has been shown there are also reviews coming out already.

The best news is that fans of the comic, as well as fans of extreme R-rated action flicks have something to get excited about. The mayhem on-screen will please even the most hardcore fans of gruesome and bloody action. Director Pete Travis gives this post-apocalyptic superhero movie an edge that is rarely seen in your local multiplex.

Yeah, I don't get invited. It's more like tagging along. I almost didn't go either because I despise NY. But the movie was great, I think it will surprise a lot of people.

I think it looks like everything I wanted in that Stallone cinematic abortion but didn't get.. I am utterly psyched to see this..

..and to be honest about the helmet.. It looks fine.. seems to be just another example of Chief's overwhelming need to find something to complain about in a movie.
