The good thing about the Warped Tour is that they run different stages - so you walk from one to the other.

The shit thing is that it hasn't been any good since 1998.

I wouldn't mind seeing Reel Big Fish again, but not with that kind of hassle for a 30 minute show. Would rather just wait for them to come to town on their own. And hell, they won't even be at the San Antonio stop.

The last one I went to was a shit-fest with a lot of rap acts (although Ice-T was a good fit), four dollar bottles of water, and security guards kicking people out of the shade. That was '99. Haven't gone back since.

It's a three day event. I'd see soundgarden, green day, MGMT, cypress hill, the strokes, wolfmother. $ 100 one day pass I think.

went to 2002,2003,2004.... all where pretty decent. but hot as balls, and water was expensive.

I've seen Green Day twice. Dookie and Insomniac tours. Tried to watch Bullet in a Bible. Something like "Scream so loud all those fucking rednecks back in America can hear you." Whatever.

Me going to one of these events today would be like an openly homosexual cross dresser crashing a Klan rally. I really feel no strong desire to put myself in that situation, surround myself with that ethic, and even pay for the privilege.

Ozzfest did that in Texas two years ago. That was the worst idea ever because if you wanted to see two different bands, they could be playing at the same time at the third stage and second stage, so what the hell!

Lollapalooza = Lady Gag Gag + Green Day + AFI + Over priced water & no shade. Sounds like an exciting day for me, not.
