so yea i know the first really wasn't all that popular here but it is horror related so why not post it. Anyone gonna take a flier on the sequel here? First one wasn't that good, though i did feel the guy had a decent build up, but unfortunately the film started to flounder past the halfway mark. not a complete stinker (well unless you wanted gore, then it really was), but i wouldn't mind giving the sequel a gander on a rental or from downloading it.

I really enjoyed the first one. Felt Real and was freaky as fuck...keen for the second one, I just hope they they do it right...the trailer for what it's worth looks promising...

It looks like a different house...I like the inclusion of an animal, as far as I know they have been able to pick up supernatural anomalies so to speak, which could add a cool feature to the film. As is the mutliple mounted camera's around the house...

I highly enjoyed Paranormal Activity. I saw it before it went to a wide release at a midnight showing and the entire theater had a great time. I just hope they don't decide to throw in a ton of stupid CGI effects, because you know that this one will most likely have a budget to back it up.

nothing I'd buy on DVD or be big on watching again, but the first 1 was fun in a crowded theater. It was real slow at parts but didn't rely heavily on CGI and crap like that which I liked. The footsteps were really creepy that they showed. This one really played more on the "whats going to happen" than what actually happens. I did dig it enough to wanna catch the sequal. Is it just me or was the dog and baby gone when she showed up?? I hope its a sequal to the first myself. And not just another haunted house. No need in just rehashing the first one again.

1st one had some creepy moments, but I didn't enjoy it enough to hope for a sequel... I'll probably see this sooner or later, but i'm in no rush.
