A bit disappointed with this Korean revenge thriller, about a cop who despite following all the rules, always seems to lose the people he cares most about due to the idiots and criminals in society. I'm always up for a good revenge flick, but that aspect doesn't even come in to play until the last 30-minutes of the flick and even then it wasn't all that great. There are also quite a few logical plot-holes, like after a couple dudes get tried in court for the murder of a woman and child, and then they're simply found innocent because they both said the other one did it, WTF??

More could've come out of scenes involving the failure in the judicial system, but the script wasn't strong enough to detail such trivial matters. Instead, we basically follow this cop who gets pushed until he can't take it anymore. If the script were stronger and the lead more likeable then it might've been a better watch. It doesn't help matters that when these criminals finally get whats coming to'em it's handled rather poorly.
