Ok i'll be running the 2010 UHM Horror Draft (using Slayer's rules).
Kick will be selecting people at random for the draft order, and will take over if i'm ever late closing or posting a matchup.
Please only sign up for the draft if you are committed to being online and post regularly on the site. If I feel like you are not a regular or you don't have the commitment, I'll boot you from the game myself.
Ok so lets get down to the rules:
RULES
*****No n00bz (anyone who hasn't been a member for atleast 7 months) can join or vote on the draft.*****
* The draft will consist of 16 players total, if not then there wont be a draft.
* Once the players have been chosen, a random drawing will decide the order in which they will pick their movies. (Numbers 1-16)
* There will be a total of 5 movies drafted by each player
* Whoever is first on the list will pick a movie in this order Movie (Director) Year. Ex- Halloween (John Carpenter) 1978
* The drafting will continue on down the list until we reach the last member on the list (#16). This member will then make 2 choices and the drafting will go on in reverse order (from 16 to 1). Then when it returns to the first members turn they pick 2 movies and the order will repeat. (1 to 16)
* Everyone will have 3 hours to choose a movie. If a player exceeds the 3 hour limit and doesn't pick a movie their turn will be skipped and they will get a strike (*) next to their name. If you miss your turn when it becomes your turn again you are allowed to pick two movies. But if you miss your turn a second time you will get a second strike (**) and when it becomes your turn again you are only allowed to pick ONE movie. Any gaps in your list will have to be filled at the end of the draft. Lastly, just like baseball THREE STRIKES AND YOUR OUT!
* Please don't edit your post or you will receive a (*)
* If you know your going to exceed your time limit you can go ahead and PM me your choice ahead of time but make sure to list a backup in case your choice has been chosen already.
* Once every player has 5 movies each player will then go on to the elimination rounds. Players will be matched up at random by me. Both players will boast their list of movies and the members of the UHM community will vote on who's picks are superior and more diverse
*Match-ups will last for 2 days aka 48 hours.
NOTE- members of the draft can't vote on their own match-ups!! Whoever has the most votes will advance to the next round until their are only 2 players left.
I am the the current champ, and have won all the previous UHM horror drafts, but I wont be entering anymore drafts.
so lets get a new champ!
