Ugh ... some of these films I wouldn't mind seeing remade (ex: "Don't Go In the Basement"), but please, not the classics! I can already see the CGI birds that will be attacking people in "The Birds," some WB/CW (whatever they call themselves these days) kids playing Rosemary and her husband in "Rosemary's Baby," etc. This remake craze is highly annoying, but there's nothing we can do about it, so I've started to accept it. As long as the originals remain available we're safe, and we can introduce people to the original horror film if they don't seek it out on their own.

Some movies do deserve a remake because the director etc fucked it up the first time, while others are like - what the fuck.

There should never be An American Werewolf In London remake period - That transformation scene will never be bettered - not even by Rick Baker,he showed that with The Wolfman.

Didnt stop Hollywood from trying to make a remake of Rise of the Argonauts. Funny how the first films effects still look better than new ones. CGI sucks if you overuse it .

Remake = a chance to throw cgi where they couldn't years ago, and a chance to get young hot chicks naked.....

An American Werewolf in London.... seriously, is nothing sacred? That still is one of my all time favorites.
