Ha I never knew this had a sequel. I've got this one on VHS and thought it was a blast. Loved all the 80s horror memorabilia shown in it.

I had this on my Netflix queue but the bastards moved it to the saved section and didn't even have the decency to put it on instant watch - but I think the damn sequel is available. (I might be mistaken.) I'll probably find the VHS of this at a yard sale or flea market at some point. I've found some crazy old horror movies like that.

Great flick. Very underrated. It's got an interesting premise that it pulls off really well in a very fun way, the monster in the film is really cool. The gore is delightful. For the first and likely only Robert Englund film he's ever directed it's a great ride! 9/10
