Well i'm not the BIGGEST fan of religion horror but Race with the Devil was a fun watch. We all have our favorite or least favorite types of horror. And they're movies you bring up that i've watched and liked.

I dont know it is suppossed based on a true story. However you may be thinking about the rumors circling around the filming of the Poltergeist movies

Well didn't they use real skeletons in the one scene?

Actually yes in both Poltergeist 1 and 2 they used real skulls and skeletal remains. In the first one its the pool scene where they used real skulls on the bodies (which apparently Jo Beth Williams didnt know till after they filmed it) and then in the second one it was the scenes under the pool in the cave.

There's stuff about it online but if you can find a copy of THS (True Hollywood Story) Poltergeist, it has everything about the series and all the weird stuff that happened and deaths. Apparently the set of the second one was so haunted that the guy who plays the Indian had to do a real life exorcism/blessing in the studio so they could move forward with production. Crazy stuff.

Yeah I saw that awhile back. I just wasn't 100% sure on it. Yeah using a real persons remains is almost certain to become a haunting.

I wonder how they were able to do that though (use real human remains). I mean were they donated or something?

How do they know their earthly remains are being used in a film set though ?

There is nothing to wonder about, they got the real skeletons from a company in India. It is well known in the business, and to serious horror fans in general, that real skeletons from India are cheaper than fake ones. They humorously reference that in ROTLD and Clive Barker has made mention of it in interviews etc. No giant surprise that life is dirt cheap in India, and that they can sell anything for less than us here in America.

I can see how Casual horror fans are baffled by this though.
