Well, it's official--Rob Zombie needs to stop making movies. I'll have a more detailed review posted shortly, but to sum things up right now: The flick barely has a plot at all; the first hour is basically one big slow-burning mindfuck with random shit thrown about here and there, while the last 20/30 mins is one big WTF. I just wanted the movie to end already.

Yeah but he is brilliant! It is all of us that aren't smart enough to catch on to the messages he conveys through such artistic and well thought out films.

I dug a couple of his works, so I wanted to give him a chance. After H2 I told myself that I'd give him one last try to sway my thoughts and he failed

I think the difference is Romero and Carpenter's movies are just that...shitty. RZ's last two films have been unwatchable. I can't vouch for Lords, but I couldn't make it through H2. Plus Romero and Carpenter have a very strong history with more than a few great films under their belt. RZ has at most 2 "entertaining" films under his, for some people. Plus RZ has totally fucked up remakes from a historic franchise.
