I'll give you that about how people HERE feel about RZ...as far as IMDBof course you 're not seriously using that as a gauge to determine how peoplw feel about RZ's work. I've popped in on many horror sites and read more reviews than I can count about RZ's "talent"....I'm far from being in the minority. You need to show me more evidence
than just this place and IMDB

The best place to use for gauging how things (movies, games, music) is rated to me is Metacritic. It gives you both "professional" and user reviews plus their overall averages.

Imdb is they Everday person voting most of the time.. I.e the person who doesn't go on a hotly message board. Is it perfect no, but it's a good way to gauge the Everday opinion... As for your reviews etc.. I could care less, every one you find I could find one that says the opposite... Imdb is a good gauge of the Everday and UHm is a good gauge of the genre fan... Adds up to a good basic opinion... And I'm on no way trying to sway yours or anyone's opinion... Just pointing our an error on your part

I appreciate reviews by fellow board members I do...but I will end up still seeing it or not seeing it based on my gut...if I think it is uter shit and see a review that says the same then great..I will skip..unless it is on tv and I am bored as shit..I might tune into it..
my horror viewing doesn't really make any sense...kind of like sex if i am in the mood then great..if not...fuck it cheerios and cartoons

Meta critic is great.. And to help my arguement, they have this a 57 which on a sale of 10
Translates to 5.7, or .1 what it is on imdb... Not a bad margin

The only everyday opinion on IMDB that's worth a look is from the people that actually take the time to write reviews....I've read more on that site from people clobbering RZ than favoring him.
There are a ton of reviews....you're telling me you read them ALL....I doubt it...just pointing out an error on your part. When you do read them all....calculate the totals of those who favor Rob vs. those who don't.then and only then will your comment about IMDB have any value for me.

I wouldn't go that far
I simply dislike his movies and have said he isn't all that good at making them. I have gone to say that he does have a knack for filming some scenes with a deft eye. But that alone is nothing in the grand scheme of things.
Dislike yes, hate...no. Not much I hate other than in-laws
