This is one of those things that sounded so fun too. Witches. Modern day kitchsy Salem. Gore... and then this plot comes out and seems to be a complete 180 from what mostly everyone here thought could be a good turn for Rob. And while a trailer might pull some back in, right now it's basically on FAIL status.

I'm curious how he's going to use Salem to shoot this. There's literally some old victorian houses and then Salem state university, not much there. Gonna be cool to see some of the landmarks there though and point them out.

yeah this sounds a bit odd. The video to Lords of Salem made me hopefull cuz its got old school evil witches in it. But this made me think of that old movie trick or treat where that rock singer comes back from the dead haha. that was kind of enjoyable for what it was though.

This sounds horrible. I haven't enjoyed any of his movies and this doesn't seem like it will be any different. I guess we are going to get a trailer park witch hunt here.

Another I'll judge it while I see it kind of films. We had hope with The Devil's Rejects, now if he could only take what he did right from that film and incorporate it into his future films, he'd be alright.
