I like it a lot. I'm a big fan of Tom Atkins, and I think Dan O'Herlihy is great in this.

Agreed that had they not called it a Halloween sequel it would not be as hated. As it is it's typical 80s cheese. Mmm, cheese. The song is classic wtf silliness.

Me too Prime. The first time I watched it I did not like due to no Michael Myers in it , then I thought that is a really lame attitude. I really like this now.

I really think he should've stayed dead. I love the ending to Halloween II.

Loomis sacrificing himself to kill Michael was perfect. The beginning of the 4th one is so ridiculous. Michael just covered in bandages like we didn't see the shots of him completely burned to a crisp, and Loomis surviving with nothing but some crappy-looking scar makeup on his face. Not to mention, Michael's mask looks awful. I can't stand that sequel.

Halloween III is one of my favorite films to watch in October.

It was just odd enough to keep me entertained for the duration way back in the day.

I hated this film at first, when I was younger. Not so long ago, I gave it another viewing and actually found it to be quite entertaining and fun. It's now on my DVD shelf among the rest of the series. (Just missing H20)

I've always had a soft spot for this film, but whatever you do... NEVER pass out drunk and allow the dvd to go to the menu screen, if you thought the silver shamrock tune was annoying now, try waking up with it on a constant loop without any fucking energy to find the remote or (my final resort), get out of bed and turn the telly off at the box.
I learned my lesson the hard way so no one else has to!

I was never a fan of this movie. i have always thought androids in horror films were lame. But this year I gave it another shot and really enjoyed it. I watched it 3 times during October. It has great atmosphere and a good story. Plus Tom Atkins is awesome in everything he does.
