Recent island movie that was filmed twice?

So I remember hearing about this movie about this group of people on and island and there were these creatures or something? I could have sworn After Dark Films was going to release it.

Then i remember hearing that they went back for reshoots and wound up reshooting the whole film or something to that degree. That is the last I remember hearing about it. I could have sworn it was called The Tribe, but searches show no results.

Anyone know about this movie?
