New vampire film - Midnight Son

Hey everyone. I wanted to let you know about an independent vampire film that I've produced. It's called Midnight Son, and it's a bit different than the typical vampire movie. My partners and I produced it on a very small budget, and are now in the process of finishing it up. We aren't sure when it's going to be released, as we don't have distribution yet. To be honest, it's hard for small, independent films to get distribution these days, so I wanted to ask for your help.

We recently released our trailer, and I wanted to ask if you'd be willing to watch it? We're really curious to hear what people think of it. You can leave comments on this forum, or on YouTube.

Looks ok compared to the plethora of other crappy low budget, student films. However, just a word of advice, it's tacky to sign up on a message board and let your first post be an ad for your film.

I've seen the trailer and if it doesn't look awful/uninteresting, it didn't really attract me in fact. Reminds me one old Tale from the crupt for example and the only vampire movie I'd like to see right now is the belgian movie from Vincent Lannoo which seems to be influenced by "Man bites dog" with the documentary side of a famous belgian program.

Sorry everyone. I didn't realize posting a horror trailer on a forum about upcoming horror movies would be considered spam. If I had known that, I would have never done it. I'd posted to a few other horror related forums around the net, and no one else accused me of spamming.

We're just a small film trying to let people know about us. We're very low budget, and don't have any money to do any regular advertising. We thought reaching out to horror fans via forums such as this one would be a good way to let people know about the movie. We just figured people reading forums like this were doing so because they wanted to know about new horror films.

Again, sorry if anyone was offended. Definitely didn't mean to do that.

I can see where you coming from but what would be nice and might not piss so many people off if you donated a few bucks to the site if you are going to use it for free like that. ( I know as soon as diapers are cheaper I am going to donate! Times are hard man!)
