Michael bae is the man you go to when you just what to make a movie where you blow shit up, and nothing more. Yes some of his films look real cool, have decent actors, nothing oscar worthy, and they are meant for entertainment purposes only, nothing more.

Like Toby said, he never seems to learn from his mistakes. He makes good action sequences and shit, but what about just being more creative and wanting to aim for something higher than action and overly done comedy?

About Fox...nearly all of her films have flopped, which should be a clear sign that she needs to step up or disappear off of the face of the earth forever!!!!!

Looks good judging from the new trailer. I like the more serious tone. I was never too into the silly comedy that was presented throughout the previous flicks, especially the first movie.

I found the 2nd film to be the sillier of the 2. It had those two twin bot things - the urban ones... wth was that all about!?

Yeah, the 2nd was a bit more dumb, but the action scenes made up for it. I guess I just thought the first was worse in that respect, cuz all the comedy surprised me at the time. Unnecessary

I watched the newer trailer earlier today and it look's awesome i actually like the more serious tone there going with in this one even though i didn't mind it being silly with the first two films.

this trailer made it sound like the transformers are leaving in the end of this movie. And what the hell was the big octopuss thing? Dont tell me he made up a bad guy.

I dunno who to blame or not blame here. Its publicity which is always good but the timing is a bit tricky and it almost comes across as an attempt from Bay's camp to put aside the 'bad blood' generated by the original story in some pseudo damage control move in case DOTM does less business at the box office.

Right now surprisngly Megan comes out looking the smartest if anything here for not responding, keeping the drama going but I expect her to chime back in with her two cents.

Bottom line IMO it was still a bad career move no matter Bay's reputation for being a less than stellar film maker but it does come off making Bay look desperate/bitter/petty to settle this thing before DOTM opens in a few days.

it is funny everyone here is on the fence about this one but most statements have been "2nd funnier than the first" or "like in the past 2".....

which goes without saying...I will probably end up watching the 3rd one as well even if it doesn't catch my interest..
