This is a quality film, I got recommended it after i saw the devil came out though so was a bit disappointed that it was no where near as good, but hey there isn't much out there even close to how great I saw the devil is!

I watched this a while back and then thought "ok," and moved on. I didn't quite understand why everyone liked it. Eh, I'll rewatch it sometime.
Can't say I'm a fan of I Saw The Devil. The narrative was just ludicrous and took so many ridiculous and unbelievable turns.

What most people need to ask is why to check certain movies, often one seeks a similar product to another, in this case although The Chaser is prior to I Saw the Devil, most people saw it after this.

After that film many started looking desperately some similiar product from the Korean cinema and that's when became interested in this film, it clear that when expectations are high, the disappointment at the outcome is more likely.

Still the film is very good, and of course that goes along known paths of revenge and redemption, of honest antiheroes, murderers and inept servers everyday law.

I absolutely loved this film. It's one of the best Korean films I've come across in recent years, along with A Bittersweet Life and I Saw the Devil.
