    It's an 80s movie, and sadly I don't have much else to go on. I remember I was terrified of car washes for that reason, that monsters could be lurking in the fluffy sponges. I was hoping that scary scene alone might help identify the movie... The monster was kind of serpentine but slimy from what I can remember. A man went in, not in his car, and the monster attacked him from above and ate him.
