when i went to see this... there were some annoying kids a few rows ahead of us. I fealt bad but the older couple in front of us left due to it. Finally another couple complained and one of the workers sat in the same row as them until the end of the movie.

Going to see this movie was hands down my worst movie experience ever! Not because of the movie, but because of the crowd. The lights had to come on and people had to be escorted out for being disgustingly loud and ghetto. I WAS PISSED!! It was like the black girl in Scary Movie when she was at the theater and kept talking. I don't know why i didn't ask for my money back. They could at least given us free passes.... The movie was awesome from what I got to see of it. I was creeped out for awhile afterward. Going to watch it again when it comes out on Netflix.

Don't mention it, it happens here all the time. They've slacked down, due to the fact that they built another theatre just like it. But it amazes me how people can come in a theatre and talk all the time, then it seems like there is nothing no one wants to do about it, especially the people that work there. They need to hire security and have them stand by the door. Shit get's aggravating after a while, some people have no respect, no matter the race or lifestyle. It's just a fucking shame when yo upay ten dollars for a ticket, everyone in the theatre is arguing, fighting, and on three occassions having sex in the theatre.

Agreed, it's the reason I rarely see horror movies in theaters. Ever since Nightmare on Elm St. The two people behind me spoke the entire time. When the new Freddy came on screen for the first time, one of the guys said, "Hey they used the original guy for this movie". I almost blew up!

But it happens during every amped up movie. When I saw The Rite, it was fine, but if I go to see Resident Evil or Paranormal Activity, it was a madhouse. Scream 4 was pretty bad too with the amount of people talking, I just don't get it. You pay the $20 for two people to get into a movie, and you literally piss your money away by talking the entire time. I really don't get it.

A-freakin-men!! It's pretty bad around here because we have one big theater, Regal, then we have a tiny one that's actually right around the corner from me. So basically all the kids that can drive go to the Regal.. all the kids that can't drive go to the Orpheum. So when school is out.. pick either theater and you're screwed lol Unless you go to the last showing which never happens around here because I have a 3 year old and the other half wakes up at 3am for work.

For those that have seen it would not seeing it in ultra mega high definition hurt it for you?
The projector at the cheap theater is crap. Just wonder if it is worth seeing it that way.

Saw this last week and i thought it was pretty good. I think the sound definitely built the tensionto the max. It has moments that were genuinely scary, not just the usual bang and a jump stuff. I liked the story but felt a little bored for 20 min of it. Loved the ending but i had predicted what would happen. Not the scariest film ive ever seen but it kept coming back to me that night in my bed! 7/10

Not too bad. A couple of scenes gave me a shiver and that rarely happens. The ending i guessed which was a shame but at least it didnt confuse me like Yellowbrickroad did last night but saying that, im not the sharpest of fellas. lol

Good flick. Great use of sounds and it was nice to see an American horror film not rely primarily on pop-up scares for a change. Thought the flick lost a little of its edge towards the end though, but I dug it for the most part. Will have a more detailed review soon.

Saw this the other night. Some good creepy scenes and nice suspenseful build up, which is ultimately ruined when they try to explain too much and spoil the whole pacing.
I didn't find the main villain all that scary - he just seemed like a poor man's Freddy to me. The old woman was much creepier.
The scene in the baby's bedroom near the beginning did make me shudder slightly as it was more subtle than the all-out supposedly scary scenes.
The ending was very predictable but still enjoyable to watch.

watched it last night, this flick was gearin up to be one of the best horror flicks id seen in awhile. And then came that shit tastic "its no longer a shocking twist" shocking twist ending that ruined the whole thing. This movie was proof PG-13 horror can work though.
