Going to the Connecticut Horrorfest tomorrow.

Their "big" draw, Linda Blair canceled but I don't care wasn't going to see her anyway. I might get a couple autos but mainly I just want to check out the merch. I'll only be able to go in the morning since I have a wedding party for my cousin in the afternoon.

It was probably a good thing that she canceled. She probably had to attend another horror convention to make fans pay extra to donate to her shitty charity.

Yeah I've seen her at other conventions and she seemed like someone who was only there to push her own agenda and was not interested in the fans at all.

I went to the Monster Mania that was in Hunt Valley, MD last year and loved it. Met the actress who played the demon from Evil Dead Rise, and the main chick from Smile.

I loved it. Felt it was better than the remake from a few years ago. Mommy's with the maggots now.

Yeah. I like the remake as well, I even liked the TV show - tho I have always felt that Evil Dead would benefit from trying with less slap stick humor, and be just more...gruesome. Like the very first film. That being said, I am of course a huge fan of Campbell's character, and his humorous, far out antics. Evil Dead Rise was really a step in the right direction, I thought.
