As of now, I don't see a change. I think it's going to be the same type of stuff. I hope thoy that we get several good horror movies this decade, but time will tell.

The only thing that I can say, and I am a 90's fan, but the 00's rocked better, is that I see a lot of CGI 3-D type of films. It's very useless. Now they're starting to adapt Animes and more video games. I don't see much for originality, which is what hollywood really needs.

I'm getting tired of the remakes, some come out good while the majority never really adds up to anything worth watching: they're either R rated films that are turned into lame PG-13 films or they are R rated sucky films intended for no other purpose than to bring in some numbers at the box-office. Now I do see a lot of this in this decade.

I also notice they are starting to bring back other films, such as scream. I really can't call. I just don't see horror going anywhere new anytime soon.

As far as the quality of horror movies this decade, I have no idea. I doubt we will see much original stuff, most likely a lot of remakes and rehashes of what we've already seen. I do see the 3D craze picking up big time this decade. The price of 3DTV's is going to start coming down over the next couple of years, then almost everything will probably be made in 3D.

I always thought about this..

You can see the different clothing styles from each decade clearly. When it came to the 00's I think it's going to be the same as the teens. I think everything is going to be the same. When a movie came out in 99 or 2000 as it is, it feels like it just recently came out. As far as movie quality goes, I think that will be the same as well. Hollywood movies with CGI, but better enhanced CGI.

I hope the envelope gets pushed more. And if they are going to continue to remake horror movies remake more obscure ones and make them better!! I wish i had the financing that all these crappy ass d horror movie makers have. Its like how does some of this shit get distribution seriously! I've got ideas man lol

I want to see a lot more slashers and perhaps a new iconic killer that will stand the test of time and not fall flat.. Would be awesome to see Halloween go back to its real roots and completely ignore Rob Zombies bull.....
