Pretty much sais it all. Seriously? I wouldn't put the orriginal anywhere near the top 100 greatest horror movies list, but it was fun it's own right, you can't go wrong with a movie where the entire soundtrack is AC/DC songs and has the balls to kill a kid with a steamroller.

MO was so fun even with the idiotic parts. premise+ending=WTF?
the remake could be very good. but i fear they are gonna screw it up by trying to make it look "cool".
for the soundtrack...well...is going to be hard to top the original. i think slayer would be a good choice.

And on IFC to boot if I remember right. I get a kick out of just the idea of that AC/DC soundtrack passing through a channel that can sometimes be as arty-farty as they can. It was in regular rotation in my high school days back in the '80s, when my idea of a "changer" was an old Vans shoebox filled with cassettes on the floorboard of my car, LOL.
