Another great band Garm of Ulver was in when he was doing black metal/black metal vocals. Dude has/had amazing vocals for black metal. Wish he still made black metal...

I have a few albums by Borknagar lying around somewhere - its been a while since I've given them a propper listen. Good stuff.

Speaking of Ulver, I was looking for recommendations to sounds like their "Bergtatt" album. Obviously, I wasn't expecting to find anything near as great as it, but I kept seeing people recommend Agalloch's album "Pale Folklore". Again, it's definitely not as great as "Bergtatt", but it definitely does have an atmospheric feel to it, and I did enjoy it, with this one being my favorite song off the album
