It's nice these guys are expanding their music taste, but the releases they pick have been out for a long time usually. Not really interesting reviewing insanely popular and mainstream metal. I have seen some of their videos and I could care less about what they think. Good if you're a metal noobie though I guess

I mean... when you introduce someone to a genera or even band, you typically don't lead with the least know/more subject or niche brands of it.
I didnt get in to Leadbelly becasue someone tossed me a handful of previously unreleased records, i did so with a greatest hits album and then expanded outward.

When I introduce someone to a band or album, I don't really care how long they have been out for. If the band is good then they are good (hence why I am recommending them). If the band is obscure, then more of a reason to recommend them. I don't really get why least known/niche bands matter when recommending music.

But, my point is that I also don't care about two dudes reviewing the most popular metal albums. That's why they are good for metal noobies because there is a higher chance that people haven't heard Master of Puppets, or Rust in Peace, or Reign in Blood, etc. I am not going to sit down and watch a ten minute review on what they think, because these albums are pretty much required listens in the metal world. Good for them for getting into the albums though.

I pre ordered the vinyl as I am usually a fan of Ghost. After listening to the album, I am quite confident when I say only like three songs are worth listening to. They went in an ass backwards direction.
