Except for the scene where Kane Hodder comes up the hill in the snow machine and completely misses the ski equipment being thrown at him, I dug this movie alot. Way better than i anticipated..

Why didn't you like that part? The machinery was very loud and he was looking in the opposite direction. You're on a mountain and there's a blizzard..you'd miss the ski equipment too because you weren't looking for it.

I just thought it was unnecessary, they could have eliminated Kane going up the hill altogether and not have done the whole "ohhhh, look how close they were to being discovered" thing and it would'nt have affected the plot whatsoever, in my opinion.

It was totally necessary. It gave the viewer a feeling of hope, and then it was ripped away quicker than the groomer appeared.

Really? I kinda figured that since it was happenning at the 28 minute mark of the movie, it probably wasn't going to work out for the best.

I thought it was great. The characters do make some bad choices, but I could see some people doing that in real life. Not everyone makes the smartest decisions especially in such a tense situation. I know I'm tired of characters being completely stupid in horror movies, but I thought it was believable here.

I wonder if wolves would've really killed someone like Iceman in real life. It makes sense why they might attack the other guy since he was badly wounded and helpless, but they would've had to really fight Iceman (at least somewhat). Shawn Ashmore's character did have the cuts on his hands though so maybe they smelled blood and still had an appetite? I'm so glad the wolves weren't CGI. That would've ruined it.

I really liked this movie. I just saw it for the first time about a month ago and it way better than I had expected it to be. The characters were believable and likeable for the most part and Emma Bell gave a much better performance here than she did in The Walking Dead and Final Destination 5. My only real complaint is that I could predict who would live and who would die (and even the order) less than 20 minutes into it. Overall, it's still worth watching. Just don't expect a bloodbath. All of the 'bad things' are pretty subtle but there are a few nice little 'surprises.'

I like it because it's to the point and the story is simple. They get stuck on a ski lift. It's not long or dragged out, makeup is well done for the parts where makeup was needed, and the acting is great. A lot of people don't like this movie, including one of my best friends, but I think it's great.
